The Darvaza gas crater, known locally as the “Door to Hell” or ”Gates of Hell”, is a natural gas field in Derweze, Turkmenistan, that collapsed into an underground cavern, becoming a natural gas crater.

Daşoguz Airport (also spelled Dashoguz) is a provincial airport located 15 km. southwest of Daşoguz in Turkmenistan.- The first flight was in September 1924 from Kagan-Dashoguz-Khiva, then it became a regular flight.
